Double Kelt
The standard Keltner Channels is an indicator that is used very often by the traders in order observe the overall trend of the market. The DoubleKelt comes with an improved version of the standard Keltner Channels indicator, by providing an upper channel and also, a lower channel.
The DoubleKelt consist of the following:
- 2 Upper Lines, that can also be used as a channel (you can find out more about that below in the parameters explanations
- 2 Lower Lines, that can also be used as a channel (you can find out more about that below in the parameters explanations)
- 1 MidLine, that is the foundation of the indicator

The base for the calculation of the Keltner Channels indicator is the midline, which is an SMA with the period chosen in the indicator window. The upper and the lower bands “offset” the SMA by the difference between the high and low of the previous bars, also known as the Average True Range (ATR).
Here are a few of the indicator options:
- The possibility to have the zone between the upper/ lower extremes shaded
- Different painting colors of the indicator’s plot, depending on the current trend
- Multiple types of painting, once a candle crosses one of lines (Bars paint, Background paint – the potential signals will be colored differently, depending on the cross type)
- A large variety of signal and alerts: Sound alerts, Email alert, Twitter alert, Pop-up message alert etc.
